@Nishantjain, @jppp can you please confirm, is the IsFiltered function still not working with Hierarchy Slicer? If not, is there any fix in the works? Also, if you know of any alternatives, can you please let me know?
With the next update (released somewhere next week) will have support for the ISFILTERED() function.
It is a little bit limited as it only works if the selection can be 'reduced' to a single selected parent. So with single select it always works, but with multi-select only if you select a single level.
