We have multiple dataset hosted in Premium capacity to support Self-Service.
Subset of the dataset fields are hidden to avoid users data access as they must be protected
When connecting using Power BI Desktop to the dataset, users with dataset Build permissions can "view hidden" fields
I have seen this was fixed back in 2021.
Logic dictates when developer hidde the fields and publish the dataset, they must remain hidden
Is this an issue with a Power BI dataset or not?

Hi @Anonymous ,
Please check and provide the following information.
1. What data source are you using?
2. What is your connection mode?
3. Is the file opened after downloading the pbix file used by a user who has editing rights to the dataset?
