Filled Map does not recognize New Zealand

The Filled Map visualization does not seem to recognize New Zealand as a country.  When I set State to blank ("") and country to New Zealand, nothing gets filled on the map.  When I set State to "New Zealand" and country to "New Zealand", a region of Germany is filled (see picture).  I have set the data category of my State field as "State or Province" and I have set the data category of my country field to "Country/Region".  I believe this was all working a week ago, has something changed with latest update?

If you only want to map New Zealand in Filled Map, why you involve the State into Location field? You just need to drag Country into the Location field.

OIf you want to build a hierarchy, please make sure there are properly States in your data and put State under Country.

The report is actually based on the oceania region, so Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia.  Some of the countries shown have states (like Australia), some do not.   For the countries that dont have states, we just want to fill the whole country.  

 

This report was all working a week or so back, but now it doesn't with no changes on our end.

Hi, just following up on this.   Is it not possible to have a filled map that has a combination of countries that have states and countries that do not?  I even tried using "South Island, New Zealand" and "North Island, New Zealand", but that doesn't seem to work.

It seems that island name is not supported in the filled map, please refer to the warning message as following screenshot. If we use some supported field like region, the filled map can recognize them properly.

However you can show the island with Map visual instead of Filled Map.

Hi,

I have the same problem.

First, I thought that New Zeland wasn't recognized in filled map with its name (New Zealand) or its ISO code (NZ or NZL).

After filtering on New-Zealand country, if i manually zoom-in and/or move the map the country is correctly coloured.

Hi,

I have the same problem with Germany (DE) and Norway (NO).

The Filled Map visualization does not seem to recognize its ISO code... why???

The other countries works correctly with their ISO codes...
