Hi @tjeee@rush,

Does the issue happen to Power BI desktop Oct version downloaded from download site or Power BI desktop installed in windows store?

It looks like the issue happen to reports created in previous desktop version. Would you please share some issued pbix file (import mode) so we can try to reproduce it on ours side? You can upload them to your OneDrive and send the link to me via private message.

Meanwhile, you can try to install September desktop version to see if can open these issued reports.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

It is the Oct 2018 desktop version from the website.

I have installed the September version but it still gives back the same issue.

Hi @rush,

Would you mind sharing the issued pbix file with us?

Please collect the desktop trace log and share it with us around the time that issue occurs.

Best Regards,

@v-qiuyu-msft
I, unfortunately, do not have any trace logs as I had deleted all contents related to power bi.

The issue is with my Windows system.

After you fix the Windows system issue, are you able to open reports now?
