Export data not working (Couldn't download file)

Hi all,

I have an issue exporting data from a visual in the PowerBI web interface. When clicking on "Export Data" in the three dot menu of any visual, I can choose the type of export, just as expected. I even get a success message on the export. After that, my browser (edge) shows that a download of the data file starts.

However, the download always fails:

It is the same for exporting a PDF or PowerPoint file. The download starts, but does not succeed.

I had a look in the console, but there is no relevant information.

Does anyone have the same issue, or even a solution?

There is no similar known issue now . I can export data from visual . 

I have a doubt that why your path is blob ? What is your capacity ? Shared or Premium ? Can you do this with a different browser ?

Hi Ailsa,

I just tried again with the exact same settings (same browser, same report), and now it works. To be sure, I also tried on other devices, still working.

So I guess this was only a temporary issue.
