Error when refreshing schema due to Powerbi Update

Hi,

When refreshing the schema and data in a PowerBI dashboard, i received an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error for all tables. This error does not occue if only the data is updated, so it seems to be an issue with updating the schema.

I experience this error with the February 2026 version of the PowerBI desktop app, however when reverting to the November 2026 version of PowerBI, this error does not occur.

Thanks!

Same problem here. Seems to be having to do with the files I'm retrieving from our organizational sharepoint site

This latest PBI Desktop version was working fine for me until yesterday when this issue came up. I spent the entire day yesterday debugging with Copilot just to find that it's the newest update's fault. And I can't revert to the previous version because I'm getting the "Microsoft .NET must be installed" popup when I try to uninstall. (.NET is installed and updated - another known bug with PBI Desktop. I'm waiting on my company tech support team to help me get it uninstalled.
