Dynamic 365 to Power BI: Processing error for Odata source (Invalid credentials)

Hey All,

I've seen some similar issues floating around, 'refresh error' but have yet to troubleshoot any suggestions that work for my case:

- I am using Odata from Dynamic 365 to 'get data' to Power-BI

- The database has no issue loading into Power-BI intially, but when scheduling a refresh, or attempting to manually refresh, it spits out this error message:

"Processing error: The credentials provided for the OData source are invalid. (Source at 'XYZ')
Cluster URI: WABI-WEST-US-C-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID: 1713d78e-be47-4497-ada8-c6edd978edb4
Request ID: 83681ee5-e7fc-ec6f-29e8-b92402bd6d24
Time: 2022-04-26 20:38:03Z"

I have tried: Credentials to 'Anyonomous' , with the privacy level as public

I have tried: Credentials as basic, with my user credentials

I have tried: Credentials as OAuth2, with each level of privacy.

- No luck yet

Any guidance for a fix?

Thanks,

- B

    1. You can try to download this report directly from Power BI Service to Power BI Desktop, open and refresh it manually in Power BI Desktop to check whether the report could be loaded correctly.
    2. Although connectting to online service with OData does not need a gateway, you can try to add the same data source under a gateway with credentials and try to set schdule refresh for it to check whether it could be refreshed successfully.
