Disappearing line when expanding a table column

In Power Query, one line from our specific data set disappears when a column of type 'Table' is expanded. It happens even if different columns are expanded, with or without a prefix, or under different names.

Currently, the only workaround was to sort the data (by any column) before the expand step.

We are keeping a copy of the dashboard available in its current state for diagnostics purposes.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please provide some sample data and deatiled repro steps. Which line was missing after expanding column? Please show us the data values in that missing line.

Best regards,

We don't know if we can reproduce it with random data.

And the report contains private data about our client's customers.

What approach do you recommend for these kind of situations ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Maybe you can try the latest desktop version: 2.68.5432.761 64-bit (April 2019) to see if it works.

Hi, I am searching for a similar bug report, which is why I comment here (also found this: 【BUG】Expanded Table ,the index of the previous ste... - Microsoft Power BI Community)

I can reproduce a scenario, if this helps @v-yulgu-msft

My workaround is, as stated by cfreator a sort action prior to the expand.
