In order to key in a date in either of the boxes on the "Between" date slicer you must
1. Move the mouse over the date box, this shows a flashing cursor
2. Click on the box, the cursor disapears and the calendar pops up
3. Click outside of the box, but somewhere on top of the slicer. This removes the calendar and if you are lucky the flashing cursor will appear back in the box and you can key in a date.
Very often I will have to repeat 1-3 multiple times before it lets me enter a date.
Aside from being buggy, it's simply not intuitive. I have had multiple customers complain about this since they assume they can no longer enter a date into the box. Our record set spans many years, so using the arrows on the calendar to step through every single month is a very tedious alternative.
