Date Slicer Between option prevents user from typing date

When you click on the To and From boxes to type in a date the calendar widget pops up but the cursor will not go into the text box to allow users to edit that date directly.  The workaround is to hit the [escape] button to hide the calendar widget, then the text box will be editable directly but this is very unintuitive.  It used to allow direct editing in a very straightforward manner, please bring this back!

When you want to enter the date manually in the date slicer, just click the text part of beside the calendar window, it should work.
