Dataflow with Amazon Athena

Hello, I created a dataflow using Amazon Athena, there are no problems in Power Query, I can see the database, tables, records.
But when saving and trying to refresh the dataflow I get an error:

Error: Expression.Error: The import AmazonAthena.Databases matches no exports. Did you miss a module reference? .
RootActivityId = 34d0ab85-df75-4a51-8050-674378b0aabc.
Param1 = Expression.Error: The import AmazonAthena.Databases matches no exports. Did you miss a module reference? Request ID: 3212ef65-4639-656c-c96d-8c325cc801d6.

Tell me, maybe someone had a similar error and knows how to overcome it?

Status: Investigating

Hi @MykolaKhutkyi ,

Based on the error message, by my research, it seems to be related to the operation done in Power Query. To investigate the root cause, I suggest you do the following test:

1. Clear permissions and cache.

2. In Service, create a new dataflow, connect to the data source without any transform in Power Query, then try to refresh.

3. Connect to the data source in Desktop and publish to Service, then try to refresh.

@v-yanjiang-msft Thanks for the recommendations.
But nothing helped 🙄
1. Clearing the cache and permissions in Power Query Online (in dataflow) - I did not find such options.
2. Creation of a new dataflow without processing steps did not give results? the error occurred again
3. Everything works fine with Power BI Desktop, the dataset and report are published and updated via gateway (version 3000.162.10 from 2/27/2023) without errors and work stably.

Additional information about the problem: the error in the updated Dataflow (Athena) occurs only in workspace type Premium.

I'm also seeing this problem. I can set up the flow fine in a non-premium workspace but not in a premium workspace. I get the same error:

Error: Expression.Error: The import AmazonAthena.Databases matches no exports. Did you miss a module reference?

Did you have any luck resolving this ?

I'm seeing this error as well. Occurs in a premium workspace only. Does not occur in the pro workspaces.

I just tried using the ODBC data source instead of the Athena one, and that worked. The ODBC connection string I used was just "dsn=same DSN I use with Athena".

Same issue, I can use the athena connection inside power query but when lauching the update of the dataflow the csv file with the error log contains the same message (The import AmazonAthena.Databases matches no exports). Supposedly microsoft supports this connector in dataflow since some months but in practice it doesn't work!! Premium workspace too.

This looks like it's been fixed for me. I was able to refresh a dataflow using this connector in a premium workspace today.
