Dataflow changes not saving in PowerBI Service

When I make a change to an existing dataflow, the changes are not saved. It says it is trying to save, but then I get the following error

When I refresh the page, it asks me if I want to save the cached version - but this also doesn't work.

 

From what I can see, this was reported back in 2021, but still has not been fixed: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Dataflow-changes-not-committing/idi-p/2192234

Makes it hard to use dataflows when you can't make changes....

The ICM mentioned in the linked thread has been resolved by my check. 

Please try to the following steps:

  • Navigate to Workspace Settings.
  • Toggle off “Premium” and hit Save.
  • Accept the “Remove from Premium” dialog.
  • Then turn it back on and hit Save again

Do you have any detailed error message except the above request ID, we have no permission to dig with request ID in cummunity, or if you have a Pro license, you can consider create a support ticket
