Data mismatch between power bi service and desktop

Hello,

This morning I noticied that my report in power bi service (FrontDeskDash) was showing different things to the same report in my power bi desktop file even after a refresh of both, I checked the dataset to confirm and it seems like the power bi service version is showing incorrect data even though the dataset is correct.

This has happened to me before, and I deleted and republished the report to fix it, however this time I just published a copy of the report to a new workspace, and the report displays as it shows in the power bi desktop.

Any ideas why my dashboard in the power bi service is not working how I want it to?

If there are mesures in your report which have been edited may cause this issue.

You can try to refresh the report in Power BI Service to check that whether the report still shows the incorrect value, or try to republish the report to different workspaces to check it again.

Hello,

This problem still seems to occur most mornings, as the cards setup to track any jobs created today don't seem to update manually, and require me to republish the report from the desktop app.

Seems to happen on fields where I am checking dates (eg. jobs today, jobs within this month) where it wont seem to recognise it is a new day until i republish the report (still showing the 12 jobs that occured yesterday/showing all jobs from the month of august even though it is september)

The data and report has definitely updated in these cases, so i cant seem to figure out what the problem is

I have a similar issue. My dataset has measures driven from a date table where the date is yesterday. It updates perfectly in desktop. On the service, it recognises yesterdays date (it displays in the header) but the measures don't update
