Data Load Failures and Reports Spinning

Ever since about 6am Eastern today, my dataset refreshes have been failing and the reports are just spinning - no errors, just spinning like it's trying to load the data.

Hi,

There is a Service Outage/Degradation mentioned on the support page of the Power BI, so stay tuned:

I will update here once I get any information.

Thank you very much!

Microsoft just put out an advisory for this (PB335441).  So there's finally some movement....

@Macros Could you share where you found that notifcation?  I'm not able to find any reference to it.

@jnickell - it's in the Office 365 admin site.

Also experiencing the same "not enough memory" errors on some datasets in our service, but not all the datasets.  Manual refresh seems to complete when failures are experienced, but with strange behaviour in some cases (manual refresh commanded, no "Mr. Spinny" progress indicator, but then successful completion after a few minutes).

@Macros Thanks.  I looked there (again) and it's still not showing up for us. PowerBI is 'healthy' for me in both the Admin center and in the PowerBI support page:

@jnickell

On the Support page you link to, the acknowledgement appears under the Awareness section.

Pretty sad that the issue has been plaguing many for hours, yet Microsoft still doesn't even acknowledge this as a service degradation.  Also, based on past similar experiences,the issue will get fixed, but never with any update that they state "will be provided soon".  So just wait as patiently as you can, even if your users who may rely on Power BI reporting to make business decisions are hanging in the wind.

It's now been moved up and acknowledged as a Service Outage/Degradation.

Yet, the high level Service Status still shows as Good for America.

We've reached full acknowledgement that Service in America is Degraded....
