DAX Editor Tear Away Pane

Give user ability to tear away DAX Editor while in Table View
This way, user can move the editor to another screen while seeing the results on calculated table in the main screen
Just like we can do in SSMS per the screen shot below

Thanks,

-w

Hi @tecumseh ,

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

If I misunderstood your needs, please be free to let me know.

Yes, I believe you do not understand the request.
Could be that I am incorrect.
Please advise how to grab the formula bar from the window and drag it to a new screen?
This should be interactive so I can write DAX code in the formula bar (editor) and see results back in the main power BI Window.

This would be hery helpful to see table results while developing calculated tables.
This should function just like SSMS per image1 above

Thanks,
w
