A measure with custom format eg $#,##0,,.M shows correctly in a table visual and in tooltips.
But the built-in chart visuals make a mess of it when Display Units kick in (Auto or specified) - every axis label and data label are shown as $0MM (when the values are in Millions). It's unusable.
Seriously - they never tested any value above 1,000?
Affects Power BI Desktop (July build because August is unusable) and Power BI Web service consumer view.
