Custom Data label issue on 100% stacked bar chart

I was using the Novmber 2023 Power BI desktop version and had a "100% Stacked Bar Chart" visual in which I had enabled "Custom label" to display numeric value in a specefic format using a measure instead of default percentage values. This solution was working perfectly fine, however after updating it to the December 2023 version 2.124.1554.0, the Custom Data label does not seem to work as expected. I get the error "Data labels in this visual were modified and may not match the corresponding values".
As per the below screenshot, the expected values displayed on the bar chart are $1.22M for Type1 and $120.95K for Type 2

I may have found the solution. The "Custom" option is now under Detail->Content. By default it is set to Percent of TotalScreenshot 2024-01-16 120604.png
