Create Relationship by dragging is not working anymore

In the release Version: 2.43.4647.541 64-bit (February 2017), I am having issues in the Relationship view when dragging fields between tables to create a relationship.  I can do it fine through the ‘manage relationships’ interface but not by dragging the fields.

I get the error:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Thanks

Simon

Same problem here. Also using Version: 2.43.4647.541 64-bit (February 2017).

Creating relationships in the "Manage Relationships" window works fine.

I'm also having a similar issue.  Going to put in a Support Ticket as that's the only way I've seen anything get attention.

I can repro the same issue as you. I’ve reported in internally to Power BI Team: CRI 31467006

I’ll post here once I get any update about it.

The fix is planned to be implemented in the Mar 2017 version of Power BI Desktop.

Don't trust Microsoft releases.

Ensure you can rollback to earlier versions:

Two step process.

1. Using the Feb 2017 Power BI installer package file (.msi) file, I re-ran the file and chose the uninstall option.

2. And then, I re-installed Power BI with the Jan 21, 2017 .msi file; version 2.42.4611.701 or 2.42.4611.901
