Contact Info incorrect autofill

Hi,

 

Is it just me or after recent layout refreshment in Power BI Service, something strange is going on with Contact Info for Power BI Reports.

 

It seems that Contact Information is now automatically filled with Workspace Admins? Why?

Hi @karo ,

 

From the official document can see:

By default, the person who creates a report or dashboard is the contact for it. If you set a value, it overrides that default. You can remove all the people or groups from the contact list. After you remove them, the workspace contact list is shown. If the workspace contact list isn't set, then workspace admins are shown.

@v-yanjiang-msft  Thank you for reply. My concerns relate to Power BI artefacts on Self-Service Workspaces when Contact info is auto populated with Workspace Admins what in some cases can be misleading and redirect users to Power BI Admins or other technical account as Power BI Admins or technical accounts can be assign as admins to majority of workspaces to prevent workspace being unexpectedly Orphaned.
