Conditional formatting Not working in Power BI service



I have a simple report where a backgroud conditional formatting is applied to card visual. This works in Desktop & am able to see the color changes based on values but not working in Power BI service.


I think there is some issue with Microsoft site. I have already check below options -

1. tried different browser same issues exists.

2. Clear Cache. Same issue exists.

3. checked different options under Options & settings. All fine here too.

The issue has been reported internally: CRI 181116855. Fix is already in, with plans to port it forward. There is no ETA yet to when it would reach PROD (because of the lockdowns).

Is this issue resolved?I am facing the same issue,Conditional formatting works on Desktop but is not working on Power BI Service.

I pinned the tables with Conditional formatting > Background color to a dashboard. It was working between 1st of July and 5th of July, but stopped working starting 8th of July.


Is this a bug?

I am also experiencing this as a bug in the last week.  Previously I had been able to get the colour formatting (background of cell in table from value) to work by deleting the tile from the dashboard and repinning it from the visual.  On 05 July, the conditional colour formatting failed in a subscription from this dashboard.  I deleted and repinned and this did not fix the issue with the email (although the formatting appeared to be working in the dashboard).  Today when I look, the formatting is broken in the dashboard and is not fixed by deleting the card and repinning from the visual.
