Change Power BI Gateway default region
Hello,
My Power BI is located in the Azure West region. I installed the gateway successfully, however when I try to sign in to register it is trying to go to the east and central Azure region. Is there any way to change the default region it connects to before registering and signing in?

Hi Anonymous,
Based on my research, when we register a gateway after sign in Power BI account, it will use the default region based on Power BI tenant location, we can't change it to a different region. I would suggest you check your Power BI tenant location then compare it with your gateway region, they should be the same.
