Central Data source credential store that could be reused/reconnected

As part of DevOps CI/CD process we wanted to set the data source credentials for endpoints that require OAuth2 authentication method, such as CDS, but due to the lifetime of the access token set at the time of release expires, the scheduled refresh fails after some time (1hr later by default). This would be much improved if there could be a data source credential store, much like the connector connections in Power Apps and Power Automate, this then can be used to reconnect the data source using REST API once it is deployed to the target workspace.
