Can't enter new tables via Enter data option

Hello, kindly help me with this issue please:

 

I am not able to enter new tables via Home -> 'Enter data' icon on any view (report view, data view, power query view). Power BI just freezes (can't click anywhere) right after pressing Load button, and I must shut it down with task admin, and reopen it again. This happens for every pbix with a data model already created except for new, blank ones.

 

Version: 2.103.881.0 64-bit (March 2022).

Status: Investigating

Still could not reproduce it with the same app version of Power BI Desktop. In fact, when the connection mode is import, it should not be freezed if the data size is just about 200-500 MB.

 

Suggest that you can try to reinstall Power BI Desktop or check this issue on ohter devices if possible. If it stills has the same issue and it is urgent for you, you can create a support ticket at the end of here for further fast help.

Could not reproduce it in my side as far as my test with the same version of Power BI Desktop.

 

When trying to enter data for the existing models of reports, what about the data size of the report?

What are the data sources of these reports and connection modes before entering new data for them?

 

In addition, have you used Microsoft app store version of Power BI Desktop or the web download version in this issue?

I'm using the Microsoft app store version, my models range from 200MB to 500MB or so, and they use a combination of Sharepoint, SQL, and plain files ( TXT ) or Excel files from an external machine connected via VPN. All connections are in Import Mode.
