Can't display the visual when adding dimensions fields from SSAS

Hello,

I have a problem when adding certain fields to the visuals in PowerBI. => 'Can't display the visual.'

We connect to SSAS (live) and this error occurs on dragging certain dimension fields (System.String) to the visuals. The strange thing is large fields (2000 char.) and small fields (1 char.) are no problem but fields with for example 50 char or 100 char fail.

Thank you

    Hello,

After further testing I found the problem. When adding fields which contain blank fields in SSAS the problem occurs.

As a workaround I replaced the blank fields with the text 'Unknown'.

    Regards,

    Hartwig
