Bug when using "latest" date filter query in power query

A table that has a snapshot date has a filter to show only the latest data pulled or pushed. Up until the very last statement everything is fine, but once I use latest in the 'as of date' field then all null instances in all columns turns null as text. Believe this to be a bug in Power Query as it happens in both Excel and Power BI in multiple tables.

Are you performing the repro steps as following gif? The null values are kept after using the latest filter, not turn to text. Please let me know if there is any difference between our repro steps.
