Bug - Line Chart - Legend Color - not functioning after publish to Pro

For all Line charts,    we use Datasource as Legend to distinguish two set of data, even though the line color is showing differently, the legend is not showing correctly after we publish the dashboard.   it is showing correctly in PBI Desktop.

Hi @KennethWong ,

Such kind of issue is caused by how Power BI handles colors. To resolve the issue, pstart over by hitting the "Reset to default" at the bottom of the “Data colors” card and explicitly select a color for *every* entry in the data colors. After that, please republish it. Product group has a future scenario to improve how this works, but it may needs some time. Thanks for your understanding!

Hi @KennethWong ,

May I know is this issue still happening? How you set colors for these legends in the visual? Did you configure it by specifying color in Data colors section on Visualization Pane or by using Conditional formatting with calculation formulas? In addition, did you set Themes of your report from View tab on the top of Desktop? Could you please click on Reset to default in Data colors section and reset colors for these legends? After that, republish your report to see whether you still have this problem. Thanks in advance!

To learn how Power BI apply colors to your data, you could refer to this official document:How report them colors stick with your reports

Hi, @v-cazheng-msft ,

No, the issue is not resolved. I followed your instruction and reset the color and republished, but still not fixing the issue.

This is not a new dashboard for us, it has been in production for a few months, This issue appeared a few days ago and still exisits.   the weird part is that it is functioning in the desktop version but not in the Pro version after we published it.   and other Visuals such as Bar charts, we do not have such issue.

And it does not only happen to one module, it happens to all linechart.

Please help.

I am using a Bullet Chart by OKVIZ in a report that my organizaton has had for over a year. There is a value, comparison value, and target. The data colors are as follows:
Value - black

Comparison value - orange

Target - green

I am having the same issue where my legend for my comparison value isn't inheriting the orange color of the data. The value and comparison value are both showing as black in the legend. However, the target is inheriting the green color of the data. This is happening not only in the Power BI service but also in the desktop version.

Any help would be appreciated.
