Bookmark navigator loses the latest selected state when element is hidden/shown

Like the title says bookmark navigator loses its last selected value when the navigator is hidden/shown through the selection pane.

Yes....this is still a pretty big issue for me awell.  when i use my custom navigation/slicer menu bookmark, (like show/hide), it messes with the state of the bookmark 'inpage' navigation items.  not sure what to do.  the state of the  bookmark nav switches to something incorrect, or shows a visual that is not reflective of the bookmark nav title.  it kind of gets hung up in the menu, which is confusing for the user if the visual doesnt match the nav title.
