Bookmark Glitching After Publishing Changes on PBIX file

I'm seeing a consistent issue from users where they have created a bookmark, then I publish a change or enhancement to the report, and their bookmark is causing filters to glitch (dropdown changed to list) and page level filters added to the report are ignored.

It seems that the bookmark is trying to keep the UI the same as it was when the bookmark was created, but the report has since changed, creating a mismatch between the user expectation and the report, but also between the bookmark and the .pbix file.

I created a report with bookmark and published it to Service , then I changed the report in Desktop and republished , UI has been updated and  page level filters added to the report are publied too . Did you directly overwrite the original report when you released the change? Or publish it as another report on the workspace? Also you mentioned that their bookmark is causing filters to glitch, can you provide a screenshot? Because it's hard for me to recover.
