Blank screen appearing while trying to access the Transform Data in Power BI desktop

Hi Team,

 

When user opens a Power BI file and then clicks on Transform Data, she can from here manipulate her tables and data and other tasks
- In this case, it will act like it is opening the file when she clicks on transform data, but it does nothing
- Issue just began today. Has been fine before
- Issue is happening with multiple files, all that we have tested
- No coworker is having this issue

 

I updated my Power BI Desktop this morning to the latest version (screenshot below). Using VPN i am connecting organisational applications.

All my dashboards link out to Dataflows.

This is one of the files that I am having the issue with. I have tried multiple files and none of them am I able to get to the Transform Data section. The window appears however I can’t select it and it is blank.

I have uninstalled PBI Desktop, restarted my laptop, installed PBI Desktop again, and restarted my laptop a 2nd time.

 

I am still not able to get to the Power Query Window even though it looks as if it is opened.

Based on the information you have provided, the problem you are experiencing may be related to the fact that you are using an old version. october 2023 is not the latest version. The latest version is 2.124.2028.0 released on 2024/1/31.

Based on the information you have provided, the problem you are experiencing may be related to the fact that you are using an old version. october 2023 is not the latest version. The latest version is 2.124.2028.0 released on 2024/1/31.

If it is a problem with older version, My colleagues are not having any issues with October 2023 version of Power BI desktop when they access Tranform data section , only one user is having this issue. Is there a workaround to troubleshoot the issue.

Based on the above information, this issue is complex which may need to collect log files for further troubleshooting. Since community support engineers don't have that access, I would suggest opening a Support Ticket. If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you. 
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.
