Bar Chart not fully loading in published version of report

Hi, 

 

We have a report with a simple bar chart with bars of two different colours. Since this week, the last bar of the chart has not been showing up on the published version of the report on PBI browser. When we download the pbix file and open it on desktop then it appears again. We have tried in Chrome and edge and have tried reuploading and changing the colour of the bar, nothing has worked so far.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could not reproduce it in my side as far as my test, it works fine when I publish the report to Power BI Service.

You can try to use the latest version of Power BI Desktop(August 2021) and publish to different workspaces to check it again in Power BI Service.

Hi @v-yingjl 

 

I have tried saving as a different file name and uploading to a different workspace and i am still getting the same error. I can confirm that i am using the August version of Power BI desktop as well. 

 

Can you suggest anything else to try?

Consider sharing a sample file without any sesentive information to reproduce it better.

We have tried changing the data source and we are still having the same issue. It seems to always be the bar which goes up to todays date. 

 

I have a pbix file ready to share, how best is it to share it with you?

You can upload your sample file to somewhere can store files online and share the link, make sure do not have any sesentive information, just for test to reproduce it.

The same issue with my dashboard but my Colleague solved it for me, Will ask him to comment down 🙂
If you are a PB Junkie & need to update on regular basis to big groups, errors like these can spoil your tempo
