[BUG] OLE DB or ODBC error: type mismatch (exception from HRESULT: 0x80020005 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH))

Some times, when you are using a Dataflow as a datasource, at the moment you want to close and apply to create your visuals you may receive the error OLE DB or ODBC error: type mismatch (exception from HRESULT: 0x80020005 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH))

To solve that issue [workaround]:

  1. Go to your query editor
  2. Duplicate the affected table
  3. Disable the load of the affected table
  4. Click on apply (Just apply, not close and apply) to verify the workaround
  5. If it's working, delete the affected table
  6. Rename the new table with the previous name
  7. Close and apply
