It may be caused by one or more of the following reasons.

Please troubleshoot your problem based on the following causes.

1. There is a soft paging in the empty list in the report.
2. There is a hidden group in the report and you are trying to export it to PDF.
3. There are text boxes with zero width and/or height in the report.
4. Text boxes are hidden or the NoRows property is set to "true".
5. Text boxes span table cells, some of which have null value sets.
6. The report has static columns and/or rows and the Hide is set to true in the Visibility property. Or there are totals in such reports.
7. The report has static column headings, and Hide is set to True in the Visibility property.
8. Matrix reports have multiple columns and rows, and Hide is set to True in the Visibility property, and you are trying to export to PDF or TIFF.

Hi Caitlyn,

It starts when:

  1. when I add extra filter in the dataset, grouping, tablix...etc. level
  2. Change the DAX of the dataset

In both cases, I can extract the data in excel PPT HTML...etc. but the moment I export in PDF, the error occur.

Please advise.
