Automatically scroll to the report name in the navigation pane for the report open currently

If we open a reprot through a link or a tile on a dashboard, the report open currently is not displayed automatically on the left hand navigation pane. One has to scroll down on the navigation pane to find the currently active report in order to further navigate within the report pages. This is not easy if we have many reports in the app. It would be great if the active report is navigation pane automatically scrolls and positions itself such that a user knows where they are and can see the underlying report pages without needing to look around.

HI @namansrivastava

When the report you point to needs to be dragged down to see it , you cannot directly drag it automatically through the link or tile in the dashboard. You can post your thoughts on the Ideas forum . If a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

@Anonymous  I thought this is the Ideas forum where I have posted or am I wrong?

I want to post the idea that if you open a reprot directly, say from a link or a tile in the dashboard, when the report opens up, the navigation pane should pin the report name in the navigation pane such that all underlying pages are directly visible on the screen in the navigation pane. Currently, when you open the report, you have to scroll and look for where you are in the large list of reports so you can find the links to the underlying pages of the report. Currently it is not user friendly or intuitive if you have a large number of reports in the app.
