An error occurred while attempting to publish 'Power BI - Received PO DB 4.2.2022.pbix': The remote

Trying to publish my report to Power BI Services, as I have many times in the past.  A new error appeared today:

 

"An error occurred while attempting to publish 'Power BI - Received PO DB 4.2.2022.pbix': The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error."

 

Any solutions for this?  I need to publish to service so that I may update the excel analysis file that is tied to the services connection.

When publishing to Power BI Service failed with 500 error code, it often caused by the server, not the client or report issue. In this case you can consider:

  1. Check your network status which could sign in Power BI Service normally
  2. Try to republish this report to different workspaces 
  3. Try to publish this report in some other time ranges to check
