All existing SSAS connections give error: This report could not access its data source.

I'm the Power BI admin of a large organization.

We were using SSAS live-connections for a few months and everything was working fine until NYE.

Since januari 1st no report with that connection in the Power BI service is able to connect to the datasets.

The error: "This report could not access its data source. please contact developer."

The gateway connections are working. All have green checkmarks.

The users have acces to datasources in Power BI Service.

The users have acces to datasources on premise. (I can connect to the source, make a new report with the data and then publish)

The users have been added to the security groups in SSAS.

We are able to connect to the SSAS cube with Excel and Power BI Desktop.

All licences have been renewed. We even added an embedded capacity licence.

But when I or anyone else in my organization open any of the reports, even the ones I just made and published, we get the same error.

This is acknowledged as an issue. We have reported the issue and submitted it to the internal icm platform, No:359103041 .

Engineers will do their best to resolve the issue. I will update you here if there is any progress , please be patient.
