Spark Session Cost

Am I being billed for my spark session if it is in the "Session Ready" status as shown in the bottom left and the "stop session" button (top left) is available?

 

The documentation isn't very clear on what "Pool Idle" actually means. 

 

Ie, I open a notebook > run a cell > it finishes

 

If I don't press "Stop Session" am I being charged for the session even though I am not executing code?

    Hi Anonymous For any job submitted from Spak Job Definition, we only bill the usage when the job is in a running state. The session will be expired after 15mins idle.

    Anonymous  how is it billed? As we know fabric cost is constant for month if we use it or not
