Spark SQL code blocks display as plaintext without syntax highlighting

A coworker and some other people online are having problems with syntax highlighting no longer working for Spark SQL. Is this a recent bug, or is there something I should tell them to try?

I used to be able to reproduce your error, but now I can't reproduce your error and I'm not sure if the problem has been fixed?

I also experience the same problem. For me, it doesn't work to copy out and re-paste the code

Hi @mikeburek ,

I can reproduce your situation.

Convert the code block to Markdown format and back, and the syntax highlighting disappears.

In my opinion, this doesn't affect the code, it runs fine, it's just that it might be a bad experience without syntax highlighting.

Copying out the statements from the code block and re-pasting them in restored my syntax highlighting.

Yes, the code continues to work without the syntax highlighting.

The problem has not been solved, though.
