A Typo on filter in Fabric Workspace

Hi, Team

We can see Mirrored database, SQL analytics endpoint and SQL analytics endpoint in type of filter.

I can filter only mirrored databases by clicking Mirrored Databases in the filter type.

If I click on one of the SQL Analytics endpoints, I can see that only mirrored databases are filtered.

So that should be delete one of one of SQL analytics endpoint.

Hi @Hongju_Jung

In a scenario where a Mirrored database and a Lakehouse coexist, the system automatically generates two SQL analytics endpoints. One endpoint corresponds to the mirrored database, and the other caters to the Lakehouse data. As illustrated in the previously shared screenshots, this behavior is expected.

I hope this information helps.

Thank you.

Hi, @v-cboorla-msft

Thank you for your response.

We can see SQL analytics endpoints showing different filter results..

Is that by design?

Thanks,

Hong

Hi @Hongju_Jung

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

Mirroring creates three items in your Fabric workspace:

  • The mirrored database item.
  • A SQL analytics endpoint.
  • A default semantic model.

Each mirrored Azure SQL database has an autogenerated SQL analytics endpoint that provides a rich analytical experience on top of the Delta Tables created by the mirroring process. Users have access to familiar T-SQL commands that can define and query data objects but not manipulate the data from the SQL analytics endpoint, as it's a read-only copy.

I have filtered the Mirrored database and SQL analytics endpoint (autogenerated while creating Mirrored database).

You can see the similar behaviour when I filter for Lakehouse and SQL analytics endpoint (autogenerated while creating Lakehouse)

Thank you.
