How to add firewall rules for Fabric Synapse Datawarehouse. At this moment, server can be accessed on any comp using 'Azure Active Directory using MFA'.
Hi @dinesh01 Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Fabric Community
You can follow the Quickstart document from MS Docs Quickstart: Create a private endpoint - Azure portal - Azure Private Link | Microsoft Learn
And also the troubleshooting document if you find any issues
Troubleshoot Azure Private Endpoint connectivity problems | Microsoft Learn

I don't believe this is addressing the question, which is private endpoints for warehouse/lakehouse in fabric.
Hi @Anonymous I agree I shared the document which is not private endpoints for the warehouse/lakehouse
To answer the question We cannot add firewall rules for Fabric workloads yet. That feature is still under design/development and will be released in the future. Until then, all Fabric Workloads are publicly accessible to all networks, with proper AAD tokens.

I'm a little confused by this post. Are you saying that if our tenant is secured from public access, then we will not able to connect to Fabric from our internal network even if we open 1433 for the SQL Endpoint as mentioned in this document?

Thanks in advance,
Scott
Maybe I am missing something. I don't see where in the documents you shared does it discuss adding private endpoints for Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/warehouse?
There was a typo in my previous comment I meant to say not related to warehouse/lakehouse
Sorry for the confusion. i have also mentioned That feature is still under design/development and will be released in the future.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Geetha
