Workspace and Power BI license

Hi,

it's seems that when I create a workspace it is necessary to specify which Power BI license to choose.

Is it possible to create a workspace without a Power BI license? F.e. creating a workspace for a data mart and not for the Power BI reports against the data mart?

Ok, so it is mandatory to choose a Power BI license.

Hi @pmscorca you will always need to specify the license type when creating workspaces.  If you don't want to link the workspace to any Fabric (or Premium) capacities then you can choose Pro. However any users accessing that workspace would need a Pro licence.
