Whitelist Fabric Workspace To Read Data from Azure Storage Account SFTP with Firewall enabled.

Hello Everyone,

We are trying to access Azure SFTP via Fabric Copy Data Activity.

With Enable All Network we are able to access the SFTP.

Whereas when we try to limit the public access and Select Option "Enabled from selected virtual networks and IP addresses" and provide Power BI and Gateway IP available on the following URL : Gateway IP addresses - Azure Synapse Analytics | Microsoft Learn

We are not able to authenticate to SFTP.

Please let me know what setting i am missing.

Note : I am using Fabric Trial Capacity.

Hey,

The below thread : https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Data-Pipelines/Enabling-Azure-Data-Factory-to-Access-Restr...

should help.

The Fabric Data Pipeline leverages the same IP range as Azure ADF.

You can whitelist that IP range in SFTP

Thanks for sharing that info. Does anyone know if static IPs are ever going to be supported with Fabric data pipelines? Some clients/vendors may be unwilling to whitelist a range of IPs like that.
