Unable to download the python wheel library from Fabric

Hi,

I have installed the Microsoft Healthcare solution on the fabric and tried downloading the Python Wheel library from it, but it failed to download. I tried to download it multiple times and installed the solution in many different workspaces, but it never worked.

Any clue!!

Regards

Rajaniesh

I have installed Healthcare Sata solution from Fabric and tried to download the python wheel from it but it did not work

Hi @RajanieshK,

Could you please clarify on how you are trying to download the Python wheel? Are you installing it via a Fabric notebook using pip, or is it part of the Healthcare Data solution setup?
Additionally, please share any error messages or logs when attempting the installation. This will help us identify the exact issue and provide the best solution.

Thanks and regards,

Anjan Kumar Chippa

It is part of healthcare foundation data solution

Hi @RajanieshK,

Ensure that your fabric workspace is using Runtime 1.2 (Apache Spark 3.4 and Delta Lake 2.4), as healthcare data solutions do not support Runtime 1.3.

Try to Install whell manually using pip, since the wheel package is essential for building and installing python packages, conflicts may occur if multiple versions are installed. please check if wheel is already installed.
Update the pip "pip install --upgrade pip" and run "pip show wheel"

  • If it is not installed, install it manually: "pip install wheel"
  • If it's already installed, please consider upgrading it to the latest version: "pip install --upgrade wheel"

Hi @RajanieshK,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.

Could you please share the exact error message or logs? This will help us identify the issue and provide the best solution possible.

Since wheel is a core thing for building and installing python packages, the installation might have failed if it is already present or any conflicting version. Please check if it is already installed.

Additionally, please confirm if the workspace has any firewall restrictions that might be blocking the download.
