Unable to Start Fabric Trial Capacity

Hi,

I’ve recently created a new tenant in the Sweden Central region, which I understand is supported.

I was able to successfully activate a Microsoft Fabric Trial; however, when attempting to start the Fabric Trial Capacity, I encountered the following error:

We cannot assign you a free Microsoft Fabric trial capacity due to an error.

I have verified that I have an active Azure subscription, and everything on that side appears to be in order.

Having noticed similar issues reported by other users, it seems this is a recurring problem on the Fabric side. Would be nice if @Communit Support Team could provide clarity on this issue? Additionally, are there any plans to address and resolve this problem?

Hi @sergecom 

It seem's there is an  issue in accessing fabric free trail capacity with personal account.We kindly request you to create a business account with a domain name ending in onmicrosoft.com

As Per the Microsoft only School or Organization accounts can use Trial or else you can create on microsoft.com email and you can test with that

We recommend that you use your organization's work or school tenant, rather than creating a new blank tenant. If you are already utilizing the work or school tenant for your organization, please consider raising a support ticket for further assistance.

hello ,

i encounter the same issue, and it is really disappointing !! 

i don't really understand , why only school or organisation tenant can try fabric ?? 

i thought there is a free trial , you mean the free trial is not for individuals ?

shoud we paye azure subscription first ?...or even with purchasing there is no garantee because we are not organisation or school ?

 i don't undestand how it works , if you can explain please

I am a consultant, and we don’t currently have a Fabric/Power BI tenant in our organization that I can use. I will soon be starting a few Fabric projects, and my goal is to gain hands-on experience and eventually pass the DP-700 certification.

If the trial is only available to existing customers, I believe this should be stated clearly to avoid confusion. Otherwise, people may waste time and become frustrated.
