Tabs switch when umber pressed even without having ALT pressed

It seems something is up with the new tab navigation. I've found that when you press a numbered key it can switch tabs even without ALT pressed. This is really off putting when you are trying to type...

Update: the issue seems to be fixed. I had raised a ticket for this and their product team worked on it and now things seem back to normal. If any of you were affected, do check the interface out again and see if the issue persists. Cheers!
