Tableau Connection to Semantic Model Vs Warehouse (Decimal Columns)
Hi Byzza,
This is a known limitation when connecting Tableau to Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models using the Analysis Services connector. Tableau does not support this connection type and notes that it may cause issues like numeric columns appearing as text.

the first image shows that all the data in the database is of type float, and the second image, shows 4 different columns I've tried configuring using different options, all of type decimal with different settings and of the work.
Only the 3rd column was left as type general, all the others had different options

Thank you for the response. While this is disapointing, it makes sense and I've found a working around by added a metric as a simple SUM column of each column I need.
