Specify Delta Table Retention Period (Dataverse - Synapse Link connection)

Hello!

I have set up a synapsle link connection from Dataverse to Synapse in order to use the time travelling capability of delta tables. Below is the link on how the connection is set up: https://www.serverlesssql.com/synapse-link-for-dataverse-exporting-to-delta-lake/

What I want to do is to specify the rentention period for the delta tables. However, I could not find where and how this can be set and where I can check what the current retention period is using Azure Synapse. There is only documentation out there using Databricks, but not Synapse. Time travelling feature already works when I use synapse notebooks for the tables, however, only for a few days. Thus I want to increase the retention period. 

Can someone let me know where and how I can specify the rentention period and where I can check the retention period?

Currently time travel on the dataverse delta lake is not supported or enabled. 
Appreciate if you could share the feedback on our feedback link , which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.

An update on the reply from the internal team--

"Time travel" on the Dataverse-created delta lake (in either Dataverse or Synapse) - is not supported. The customer could, if they wish, set up downstream processes to capture changes/snapshots of point in time data, but that would be something they would need to build and manage on their own.
