Should Lakehouse shortcuts be included in deployment pipeline?

Greetings, community. I have a lakehouse I am wanting to deploy to a Test environment, but the shortcuts that lakehouse contains don't get deployed to the new environment. I looked through some Microsoft docs but didn't see any mention of shortcuts not being supported. Does anyone have any insight?

Unfortunately, it looks like shortcuts aren't tracked in Git according to this MS doc, which means they aren't included in the deployments.

UPDATE: Here's some good news. Support for shortcuts is a planned feature (link).
