Shortcut - HttpClient returned a response with status code InternalServerError

 

Error in sending request The HttpClient returned a response with status code InternalServerError and will retry

 

I am trying to create a shortcut to access the files within a Azure storage account.

I have Owner permission on the storage account.

I am able to establish a connection from PowerBI to ADLS Gen2 (no Invalid Credentials error).

My lakehouse and Azure storage account are in different regions.


The error happens after I click Create from this page:

 


If it helps, some of the settings from Azure storage account are:

 

Hierarchical namespace: Enabled
Blob anonymous access: Enabled
Account Kind: StorageV2 (general purpose v2)
Minimum TLS version: Version 1.2
SFTP: Disabled

 

Any help on how to resolve this issue?

    Thanks for using Fabric Community.
    I tried to repro the scenario and was successful in creating shortcut to the ADLS Gen2 with the above mentioned specifications.

     

     

    Were you able to create a shortcut to the external ADLS Gen2 account before? 

    This might be an intermittent issue. Can you please try this after a day and let us know if the issue still persists?
