    Hi kc_holman ,

    The documentation also says that the web editing for the security is not yet available and will be rolled out during the next days/weeks. 


    At the moment, you can only use XMLA to configure security.
    Learn about Direct Lake in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

    You would be able to experience web modeling security once it gets deployed.

Is there an updated timeframe for the release of the web modeling security roles dialog?

I am excited to start using RLS with DirectLake.

As of this week you can edit a semantic model with Tabular Editor (or the XMLA endpoint) and then continue editing in the we browser: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/furmangg_microsoftfabric-directlake-innovationvelocity-activity-7156277042244653057-te0i?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
