All of the users with an assigned Power BI Pro license in our tenant are seeing a banner at the top of their login "Your free Premium Per User trial will expire in X days. Renew your trial to upgrade to continue using Premium Per User features"
This does not affect the user's pro licensing and when the trial expires, it doesn't have any effect on their functionality. However, we are tired of getting these questions over and over from our users because it appears to them as they are missing licensing. We don't have workspaces or users in the tenant assigned PPU licensing so I don't understand why this banner appears for our Pro users.
Is there any way we can get this expiration banner disabled?

Hi @KimY
As a Fabric Administrator, you can disable trials in the admin portal.
You can also see all the trials that are currently active, and if the user has a pro license already, you can safely delete the trial without impacting their licensing.
I don't believe there is a way for you to just disable the banner without removing the underlaying trial that is causing the banner to appear.

Thank you @tayloramy. I found the setting you reference and am accepting your answer as the solution.

One lingering question still--this is ocurring to users who have had Pro license assignments for some time (years), not just newly assigned users. Do we know in what scenario a long time pro user would get a self-sign up prompt for a PPU trial license?
That is very interesting, in my organization I have disabled trials for Fabric as they were rather combersum to administer.
Was there any changes to self sign up license settings at the Azure tenant level by chance?

That's a interesting question, I'll consult with my M365 admin on their settings. Thanks again.
